Passport Requirement

This is a heads up for all my fellow Baja afficianados...on Jan 23, 2007 if you are re-entering the US from Baja/Mexico via airline, you will be required to have a valid Passport for re-entry per the new State Department rules. Come Jan 1st 2008, anyone trying to re-enter the US from Mexico will be required to have a valid Passport whether traveling by air, land or sea. This is really unnecessary in my opinion, but rules are rules I guess. I already have a passport so it will not affect me, but I know a lot of other casual Baja travelers do not have passports. They cost about $90 last I checked.
